There are three major companies within the UK film industry. They are as followed, BBFC, IPSO and OFCOM. BBFC: British Board of Film Classification. The BBFC are responsible for choosing the right classifications and age ratings. They are guide to media content. They focus on protecting the public eye especially children from content that might raise harm risks.
